Get To Know Diggerland USA

Ilya and Yan Girlya, brothers from Moldova who reside in the United States, officially inaugurated the park in 2014. The founders of Diggerland have collaborated with construction equipment producers like Ventrac and JCB to modify hundreds of models for children

  • Requirements: Some games require children to be 36 inches (0.91 m) tall, others 48 inches (1.12m) tall for safety, but all children can be lap passengers.

The tiny operators cannot drive off or go rogue since the cabs have rollover protection, the machines’ tracks are secured in place, the engines have an auto shut-off, and the turn adjustment on the diggers is limited. Tractors, dumper trucks, rollers, backhoes, and diggers crawl around predetermined courses or paw through their allocated location in yellow and black colors. The park is intended to have the appearance of being partially completed.

Other attractions include a carousel with dangling yellow claws and rides constructed from various hydraulics. A wave pool, as well as several slides and splash pads, are available at the park’s back which pays reference to plumbing infrastructure. For the Girlya brothers, the park represents the possibilities their parents saw in fleeing the U.S.S.R. in 1979: a life for the family where everyone could be whoever they wanted to be and take advantage of all that America has to offer without worrying about being persecuted.
