The Rutgers Camden-Rowan Board of Governors is a shadowy public board with power of eminent domain, a multimillion dollar budget, and an all white male board comprised of some of George Norcross’s closest associates.

As Cooper moves ahead with its $2.8 billion expansion, this under-scrutinized body will make major decisions about the future of the community–who goes, who stays, whose needs and interests will be served. Their dealings should be watched as they have a massively oversized say in the future of Camden City.
