With the Rangers’ home rink, Madison Square Garden, just across the Hudson River from the Prudential Center, these “cross-river rivals” share a fierce history.
In their regular season matchups for 2022-23, the Devils edged the Rangers, winning 3 of their 4 games. In their final face off on March 30, the Devils bested the Rangers at home with a game-winning goal from Timo Meier.
