Pete Davidson, a multi-talented individual, has accomplished much throughout his career. He is not only a stand-up comedian but also an actor, writer, and producer. In 2023, Davidson starred in Peacock’s “Bupkis,” an outstanding comedy series based on his life. Moreover, Davidson co-created the series, and as the executive producer and co-writer, he had a significant role in its development. Davidson also made a name for himself by being a cast member on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” from 2014 to 2022. During his time on the show, his uniquely funny weekend update features and original music videos garnered significant attention, earning him millions of views on social media platforms. Furthermore, Davidson recently hosted the 49th season premiere of “SNL,” receiving rave reviews from grateful fans. Davidson has an impressive resume, which includes his first one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central in 2016, where he showed his prowess as a comedian. His achievements have led to him being named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30. He was later named as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2022, a testament to his hard work and dedication to his craft. Davidson has also worked on several films, including the critically acclaimed “The King of Staten Island,” which he co-wrote, executive produced, and starred in. His soon-to-be-released projects include “The Home,” “Wizards!,” and “I Slept with Joey Ramone.”

Pete Davidson is a celebrated stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer.

In 2023, Davidson starred in Peacock’s “Bupkis,” a semi-autobiographical comedy series he also co-created, co-wrote and executive produced.

Davidson was a cast member on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” from 2014-2022, where his singular Weekend Update features and original music videos garnered millions of views. He recently returned to Studio 8H to host the 49th season premiere of “SNL,” earning rave reviews.

Davidson shot his first one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central in 2016 and was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 the same year. In 2020, he released the stand-up special “Pete Davidson: Alive From New York.” Davidson was listed as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2022.

In 2020, Davidson co-wrote, executive produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed film “The King of Staten Island.” Additional film work includes “Dumb Money,”  “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” “Trainwreck,” “Big Time Adolescence,” “Set It Up,” “Meet Cute,” and “Bodies Bodies Bodies.” Upcoming projects include “The Home,” “Wizards!,” and “I Slept with Joey Ramone.”

This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smart watches and accessories, will not be permitted in the performance space.

Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smart watches and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.

Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.


Please note: At the direction of the CDC or local health authorities, the Count Basie Center may at any time institute policies pertaining to COVID-19 transmission, including but not limited to mask requirements. Certain artists and / or touring productions may also require patrons to be masked and / or present proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Masks are not required to attend performances at Count Basie Center venues, though we welcome their use and respect all patrons who choose to continue doing so.
